This story is only true until the "you're a dude" comment. After that my brain spiraled further into stupid to attempt to make it funnier.

Trying to depict different skin colors in a black and white comic isn't fun.

Also I found out I got a 93 on this whole project today (my highest grade in this class for the quarter) so I am quite happy with it at the moment
